Pennsylvania Operations (PA Ops) is submitting this revision to the consolidated application for renewal of Certicate of Compliance No. 5768 to request authorization to use the BB-250-2 shipping container, initially submitted on September 26, 1980.
This revision supersedes in its entirety the text of that initial application. All of the Appendices of that initial application are still applicable to this present renewal effort, with the exception of the Appendix A drawing which was revised in our January 28, 1981 submittal to you.
The significant change in the text which warranted a complete revision is the inclusion of results from additional testing and evaluations of the container, in response to your requests for additional information in your November 18, 1980 letter; these additional results are given in Section'2.5 of this revised application text.
Also, an Appendix G has been added which presents the thermal test calculations previously reviewed with members of your staff.
In addition to PA Ops, the following also request authorization to use this container in accordance with the certificate of tcompliance:
