Report No. 70-1113/81-14.
This refers to your letter of November 30, 1981, submitted in response to the Notice of Violation transmitted to you with our letter of November 4, 1981, concerning the results of the inspection conducted on October 12-16, 1981, of activities authorized by NRC License No. SNM-1097.
With regard to Violation A, we have reviewed your response and determined for the reasons presented in the enclosure to this letter, that a violation did in fact occur.
Therefore, you are hereby required to respond in accordance. with the Notice of Violation within twenty days of receipt of this letter.
With regard to Violation B, we have reviewed your response and concluded that a violation did not occur. Therefore, we hereby rescind Violation B.
Specific comments regarding both matters are reflected in the enclosure to this letter.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice", -Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, activities involving safeguards and security measures are exempt from public disclosure; therefore, the enclosure to-this letter will n_ot be placed in the Public Document Room.
