This is to confira NRC concurrenew in comunonwealth Edison's plans to make temporary repairs to the reactor water clean-up (RWCU) line at Quad-Cities Station Unit 2, and to operate the unit with the repaired line until the Spring 1983 refueling outage.
The Safety Evaluation Report related to these repairs is enclosed. Our evaluation was based on the Commonwealth Edison Company document.
"Qcad-Cities Station Unit 2 Reactor Water Clean-Up System Temporary Repair of Non-Isolable IGSCC", given to the NRC in the meeting in Region III on January 26, 1982, and on subsequent telephone conversations between Commmonwealth Edison Company and the NRC.
