Dear Mr. Denton:
This letter provides a status report on the diesel generator reliability improvement program at Zion Station.
Attachment A to reference (b) provided a schedule for implementation of several siesel generator improvement items.
Completion status and updated schedules for these items are presented in Attachment A to this letter.
For the year 1981, the diesel generators exhibited a reliability o f 99.3%.
Over 280 successful starts were conducted during this period.
These results reflect the contributions of.the reliability improvement program and the continuing commitment of Commonwealth Edison personnel to achieve the highest degree of diesel generator reliability possible.
