LICENSE AMENDNENT REGARDING 'NUBBER SURVEILLANCE The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 71 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-3 for the Yankee Nuclear Power Station (Yankee-Rowe). The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated September 1,1981.
The amendment clarifies and improves the surveillance requirements for snubbers.
During our review of your application, we found it necessary to modify your proposed Technical Specification. We have discussed these changes with your representative and have mutually agreed upon them.
Copies of our Safety Ivaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
