Gentlemen:

In response to your letter of January 11, 1982, G. E. 'unningham to F. D. Fisher, we have extended the period for you to prepare and submit the supplemental data requested in our letter of December 28, 1981, L. C. Rouse to G. E. Cunningham, in order that your Radiological Contingency Plan relative to your materials license, SNM-9EO, can be effectively incorporated into a site-wide emergency plan. The site-wide plan must satisfy all the requirements for radiological contingency planning relative to your materials license as defined in the Order signed February 11, 1981, the " Standard Format and Content for Radiological Contingency Plans for Fuel Cycle and Materials Facilities",

NUREG-0810, and the letter, L. C. Rouse to G. E. Cunningham of December 1,1931.

In addition, the site-wide emergency plan must satisfy the requirements for emergency preparedness planning relative to your test and research reactors as defined in criteria now in preparation and expected to be promulgated in the near future.

Your integrated site-wide plan will be due at such time as the emergency plan relative to your test and research reactors is due--anticipated to be four months after the effective date of the rule proposed December 28, 1981, extending the original due date of November 3, 1981, 46 FR 23315.

Your site-wide plan will be reviewed by NMSS and IE. Those portions unique to radiological contingency planning, particularly those matters relating to onsite response to incidents involving materials and activities licensed
