CRGR REVIEW 0F REGULATORY GUIDE 1.23 (REVISION 1)
The enclosed memo to me from RES transmitted the revised Regulatory Guide 1.23 for consideration by the CRGR.
The Committee will review the Guide in its meeting on February 24, 1982 Please have your staff prepare a presentation on the costs and benefits of the Guide as well as a clear explanation of its proposed implementation to operating reactors and reactors under construction.
I expect that you will assure the appropriate staff from your Office and other Offices will be present at the meeting.
