OMB review copies of Standard Form-83 and the Supporting Statement covering reporting and recordkeeping requirements of physical protection of fonnula quantities of Strategic Special Nuclear Material used in the operation at nonpower reactors,10 CFR 73. This rulemaking affects 10 CFR 70, 73 and 50' however, only 10 CFR 73 has any associated burden. Therefore, only one SF-83 is forwarded. Supporting statements for 10 CFR 70 and 50 are provided for the Desk Officer's information.

In accordance with NRC's procedures, ny staff has made an independent review of the practical utility and necessity for the proposed information collection and we are in concurrence with this proposal.
