PURFOSE To provide for an orderly site evacuaticn of non-essential personnel.
B.

PPEREQUISITES 1.
Determine evacuation is necessary.

PRECAUTIONS 1.
Make certain that an evacuation is safer than having personnel remain on-site, E.
LIMITATIONS AND ACTIONS 1.
Determine accessibility of the main assembly area. (Service Building Machine Shop Area) 2.
If main assembly area inaccessible determine alternate assembly area.

PROCEDURE 1.
Scund assembly siren and designate assembly point if other than the i
main assembly area.
2.
Notify Security Director to account for all personnel.
3.
Consult Rad / Chem Director to determine whether a release is in progress or possible.
a.
If a release is in progress or imminent, choose evacuaticn route in safest direction, b.
Determine if control points are necessary and if so establish them consistent with evacuation route.
c.
If necessary, instruct evacuating personnel to report to a chosen relocation site for bicassay purposes.
1.
Station 16 - Waukegan
- 11. Waukegan District Headquarters lii. Westinghouse Training Center 4.
Verify Security Director has established traffic control points, if.
necessary.
5.
Determine non-essential personnel and dismiss them in an orderly fashion.
6.
After the evacuation is complete, notify Security Director to determine personnel still on-site through the use of computer printout.
