On January 22, 1982, Richard J.

Wharton, At to rney f cir Intervenors Carstens et al.,

contacted Chairman Stephen F.

Eilperin to inquire as to the deadline for filing exceptions to the Initial Decision re:

SONGS 2 and 3 and Application for Stay.

Chairman Eilperin ruled that since the service of the Initial Decision was not complete until the mailing of the

missing pagea, served by mail on January 18, 1982, that the time limits for filing did not start to run until that time.

Since Intervenors r e c e d.v e d these missing pages on January 19, 1982, it was agreed that the deadline for filing was 10 days from that time on January 29, 1982.

The Chairman advised the Attorney for Intervenors to file the dccuments by January 27, 1982.

This filing is made on January 27, 1982 in conformance with the direction of the Chairman of the Appeals Board.
