Dear Mr. Collins:
Omaha Public Power District's letter to the Nuclear Regulatory
. Commission dated July 24, 1981 identified the District's schedule for installation of a radio-activated siren system for alerting the general public within the EPZ.
The system installation is now complete. All sirens are in-place and testing is complete. Testing included full circuit continuity'and response checks of each siren, including radio-
~
activation.
Each siren has been individually sounded for its full three minute cycle.
State and local agencies are being forrally,r.otified of the system's operability.
