.l-9 twelve (12). We hereby request that the number of units b h
, ~"V/
1981, we listed the number of units of excore detectors a A '*-
,7,s changed to eighteen (18). Also, we have recently been info edb m s' by Combustion Engineering, Incorporated that the reported weight of uranium for Excore Fission Chamber Detectors supplied to them was in error. Therefore, including all tolerances, the detectors contain.586 grams of U-235 at 93% enrichment, not
.46 grams as stated previously.
The total amount of fissionable material for the eighteen (18) excore detectors is 10.548 grams of U-235.
In the sr.me section, we listed the number of movable incore detectors as two (2); again we hereby request that the number of units be changed to four (4); changing the total r
amount of fissionable material from 6.2 milligrams of d-235 to 12.4 milligrams of U-235.
The additional detectors are to be used as spares and will be used as re-placements on an as needed basis.
Any other informatics previously submitted concerning the number and quan-tity (weight) of the excore or incore detectors for the SNM License (SNM-1887) is hereby superceded by the information contained in this letter dated December 22, 1981.
