2.50.17 EMERGEFCY NOTIFICATION 1.0 DISCUSSION Plant resources are anticipated to be sufficient to cope with most of the l!
emergency conditions. The minimun shift staff requirement is designed to handle l
immediate response to all emergencies. During normal erk hours it is expected that persomel on site will cope with all the Plant activities necessary to properly implement emergency procedures. During back shifts and weekends it will be necessary to notify varying nunbers of off-duty persomel, depending upon I!

Notification of offduty persomel is acccmplished through parallel usage of the t.
pager system for speed and extended coverage and the normal tw way voice caanunications for reliability verification and additional information.
i; Additions or deletions of names and changes of phone numbers of persomel will not require the procedure review process. The revision nunber of. the procedure will be changed with each change made to the personnel lists. The review process will be followed when changes to procafure steps are made or at the two year review interval.

NOTE: The nunber is, .. ' Ouring normal office hcurs (8:00 a.m. - 4:CO p.m.) this number will be answered by a receptionist who will transfer an incaning energency call to an apprcpriate individual in the office. Outside of normal office hours this phone line is covered by an answering service. The answering service will intercept the call and obtain the nace, affiliation, and stione number of the caller.
