MIDLAND DOCKET NOS 50-329, 50-330 FG AMENDMENT 101 FILE 0485.11 SERIAL 15442 Enclosed herewith is Amendment 101 to the Company's application for construction permits and operating licenses containing three (3) signed originals and five (5) copies of:

(1) Revision 4 to the Midland Plant Security Plan; (2) Revision 1 to the Safeguards Contingency Plan; and (3) Revision 1 to the Suitability, Training and Qualification Plan.

Revision 4 of the Security Plan replaces the previous issue, Revision 3, of the Security Plan in its entirety, with the exception of several drawings.

Revision 4 contains revised material and supplemental information which updates the physical Security Plan to address the most recent requirements of the NRC security regulations. Please note that reformatting changes to the Security Plan are so extensive as to make the use of revision bars in the margins of pages impractical.

Pursuant to 10 CFR 73.55, we are also submitting multiple copies of Revision 1 to each of the separate documents entitled, " Suitability, Training and Qualification Plan" and " Safeguards Contingency Plan."

These plans are generic in nature and have been accepted by the NRC for the Company's other two nuclear facilities. Revision bars in the margins of pages have been employed in these two plans to identify where changes in the text of the plans occur. The revisions made in these two plans implement the commitments made in our correspondence, Serial 14850 dated November 13, 1981, and respond to the requests of Enclosures 1 and 2 of the NRC's correspondence of October 5, 1981.
