Johnson of our staff during the period November 30 - December 4,1981. of

findings with Mr. J. P. O'Hanlon and other members of your staff on

Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the
enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of

selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews

with personnel, and observations by the inspectors.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identi-

fied.

One new unresolved item is discussed in paragraph 2 of the enclosed report.

As discussed in our telephone conversation of December 16.1981, among

Messrs. R. E. Hall and E. H. Johnson of this office Mr. R. E. Martin of
the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, and Mr. J. P. O'Hanlon and other
members of your staff, we understand that you will respond with additional
information that will enable us to resolve this item.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure

will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room unless you notify this office,

by telephone, within 10 days of the date of this letter and submit written
application to withhold information contained therein within 30 days of the
