Dear Mr. Engelken:
On November 18, 1981 PGandE submitted to you a draft copy of the
" Preliminary Report, Seismic Reverification Program".
At that time, we provided this report to inform you of the current status and extent of R. L. Cloud Associates, Inc. program. However, the November 19, 1981 Commission Order CL1-81-30 expanded and formalized the requirements for this program and required the submission of twice monthly program status reports.
In accordance with these requirements, we have submitted four of these reports.
Since our final report will provide the complete results of the reverification program including findings, cause, corrective action, disposition, and a description of any implications regarding plant safety, we do not require a reply regarding our November 18 submittal.
We hope that this information clarifies the intent of our November 18 submittal.
