By letter dated November 6, 1981, Consumers Power Company (CP Co) committed to the installation of an inunediate warning system at Big Rock Point. Plant by February 1, 1982. This commitment corresponds to the requirements of 10CFR50 Appendix E as amended on September 16, 1981 (46FR46587 published September 21, i
1981).
By letter dated December 28, 1981 Consumers Power Company requested a tempor-ary exemption from the 10CFR50 Appendix E.IV.D.3 schedule requirements and an indefinite extension of the February 1, 1982 date unt.il concerns of the local i
j County Board of Commissioners have been resolved. The local County Board of Commissioners concerns have been resolved and the installation of the warning system will be completed and fully operational by February 1,1982.
There-i fore, our December 28, 1981 exemption request is withdrawn.
