A review of the plan indicates that several revisions are required for the plan to be acceptable.
For case of administration, it is suggested that revised plan pages bearing the appropriate revision number and date. be submitted.
Specific Comments
.Page.1-1 Revise the first paragraph so as to commit to implementing the guard training plan prior to issuance of the operating license.
1.1 Commit to retaining on site copies of individual high school diplomas and proof of age documents.
1.3 Revise this section and commit to the following:
o A medical examination within the preceding 30 days by a licensed ~
physician who attests that each individual can,'articipate in the physical exercise program.
Commit to additional exercise programs in addition to the' running o
test.
1.5 Revise this section to commit to requalification for the CAS attendants in accordance with the appropriate sections of the guard training plan.
1.6, 2.1 Commit to retaining all documentation referenced in these sections "on site" 2.2, 2.4 for at least a 2 year period.
3.0 Within this section, commit to all of the requirements of Appendix B.III.
4.1 Provide the following information for the National Police Course and the equivalent National Pistol Course that will be used to qualify the security force:
- firing distances
- positions
- number of rounds fired
- stage times
- type of target used 4.3 Revise the third paragraph of this section to read:
"50 percent of the pellets."
"The targets used during qualification will be retained on site."

Prior to the plan being approved, all of the 1. formation identified within :
Sections 3.1 - 3.8 of NUREG-0674 must be incorporated into the appropriate 4-job assignment sheets. Enough material must be submitted to allow determin-ation whether the standards to be required are functional and performance ;e-

orientated. Reference to procedures is not acceptable since procedures are not submitted with the plan, x
