On June 25, 1981, the Commission issued Operating License DPR-79 (partial power) for the Sequoyah Huclear Plant, Unit 2.
On September 15, 1931 the licenso was amended to authorize full power (100%) operation. As required by 10 CFR 170.21, an operating license fee of $302,800 was paid for the issuance of the operating license.
In accordance with Footnote 3 of Section 170.21, the costs incurred in the processing and issuance of the Sequoyah 2 operating license have been reviewed and they substantially exceed the maximum fee of $302,800 prescribed by the Commission's regulations. Since the maximum fee prescribed by regulation for an operating license has been paid, no additional operating license fee is required for Sequoyah 2.
