This confirms our telephoned authorization given on December 24, 1981 for a change in Technical Specifications for the Mairie Yankee Atomic Power Station as requested by your telecopy on December 24, 1981. Facility Operating License No. DPR-36 was amended on that date by making the f511owing technical soecification change:
Add to paragraph 3.6.C Exception No. 5:
5.
Isolation of the minimum flow recirculation line safeguards pumps js permitted for a period of not more than six hours on December 24, 1981, only, to accomplish repairs on leaking isolation valve SIA-59.
Copies of the license amendment, our evaluation and FederallRegister Motice for this technical specification change will be sent to you when completed.
