RJRPOSE The purpose of this procedure is to outline the equipment to be maintained in the envircrvnental emergency kits and in the Emergency Operations Facility (ECF). The procedure also addresses special tests and surveillance requirements.

LIMITATIONS & ACTI0tG 1.
There are 2 environmental emergency kits, located in the emergency trailer.

No equipment in the environmental kits nor the EOF should be needed for en-site radiological purposes. Such equipment is referenced in EPIP 550-4 and EPIP 550-5.
The Rad Chem Supervisor or his desiglee will be responsible for 3.
documentation and control of these supplies.

FROGOURE 1.
Cnce per month, check the oil and gas of the emergency generators (located near the kits in the emergency trailer). Start and run the generators for thirty (30) minutes. Note any abnormalities on Attachment A.
2.
Once per month, perform a battery check of the radiaticn detectors and verify they have been calibrated within the quarter. Inspect the probes for camage. Fill out the appropriate informaticn on Attachment A.
3.
Verify the self reacers have been calibrated per requirements of RP 1250-3. Test the dosimeter charger. Fill out the appropriate information in Attachment A.
Once per quarter, perform an inventory of the supplies is cutlined 4.
in Attachments B and C.
5.
Return appropriate forms to the rad / chem foreman. The rad / chem foreman shall correct any defects indicated in Attachnent A and shall replace any missing items indicated in Attachment B and C as soon as possible.
