PVNGS UNIT 1 I.
POTENTIAL PROBLEM During Bechtel's modification work on the Combustion Engineering furnished pressurizer (Tag #IMRCEX02), it was discovered that lock-wires had not been installed on the cap screws securing the heater discharge cover plate. Combastion Engineering confirmed : hat lock-wires were supposed to be installed. The problem would have gone undetected had it not been for the rework.
II.
APPROACH TO AND STATUS OF PROPOSED RESOLUTIONS Bechtel has requested assistance from Combustion Engineering in evaluating and dispositioning this item.
III. PROJECTED COMPLETION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION AND SUBMITTAL OF THE FINAL REPORT The evaluation and final report are forecast to be completed by March 3, 1982.
