EVALUATION OF EPRI TEST DATA ON CONTROL COMPONENTS INTERNATIONAL POWER OPERATED RELIEF VALVES The following reports were transmitted to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Board in the McGuire proceeding in accordance with the NRC staff's Board Notification procedures:

(3) Board Notification - Safety Relief and Block Valve Test Results (BN 81-22), Au ust 26,1981 (Ref'. Memo R. H. Vollmer to D. Eisenhut, March 27, 1981 This infonnation was transmitted to the Appeal Board without evaluation of safety significance and the staff indicated that it would subsequently keep the Appeal Board informed of the safety significance of the tests described in the Board Notification as they relate to the McGuire facility.

OELD has requested that NRR provide an assessment of the safety significance of these tests for the McGuire facility so that it can be transmitted to the Appeal Board. Your assistance in this matter is requested. Our intention is to close this matter by December 18, 1981.
