FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant Docket No. 50-333 Proposed Changes to the Technical Specifications Related to Safety Review Committee Reorganization Dear Sirt Enclocod for filing are three (3) signed originals and nineteen (19) copies of a document entitled, " Application for Amendment to Operating License", together with forty (40) copies of Attachments I and II thereto, comprising a atatement of the proposed changes to the Technical Specifications and the associated Safety Evaluation.
This application seeks to aurind Appendix A, Section 6.5.2, " Safety Review Committee (SRC). "
The propoud changes make the Safety Review Committee (SRC) reportable to the Senior Vice President - Nuclear Generation.
Previously, the SRC reported to the President and Chief Operating Officer.
This realignment of responsibility unifies nuclear related technical matters under a single Nuclear Generation Department. Similar changes to Appendix B gl (Environmental Technical Specificat. ions) Figure 5.2-2 on page 44 are also included.
In addition, the titles of the SRC membes have been changed to
,s reflect the recent Authority headquarters office reorganization.
The quorum for the SRC has been changed to agree with the Commission's standard technical ff specifications.

The Authority has classified this application for amendment to the operat.ing license as Class II as it is administrative in nature. Enclosed is a check in the amount of $1,200 as the filing fee per 10CFR-170.22, which the Authority pays under protest pending a final determination _of the legality of the' fee schedule.
