TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSES The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Commission) has issued.

Amendmant No. 79 to Facility Qp'e. rating License No. DPR-33, Amendment No. 75 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-52, and Amendment No. 48 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-68 issued to Tennessee' Valley Authority (the licensee), which revised Technical Specifications for operation of the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Unit Nos.1, 2 and 3 (the. facility) located in Limestone County, Alabama. The amendments are effective as of the date of issuance.

-r-The amendments revise the administrative controls section of the Technical Specifications to reflect changes in the Tennessee Valley Authority and Browns Ferry Nuclear Pl' ant organizations.

The application for the amendments complies with the standards and require-ments of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the 'Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulat' ions in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set.forth in the license amendments.

Prior public notice of these amendments was not required'since the amendments do not involve a significant hazards consideration.

The Commission has detennined that the issuance of these amendments will

2 151.5(d)(41 an environmental impact statement, or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of these amendments.
