REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION a
HADDAM NECK l
1.
A listing of all Class lE equipment that may be running,or ma'y automatically start and the interval of time that these equipment wil.1 be exposed to a degraded voltage under all plant conditions of operation.
2.
Manufacturers' data or appropriate testing to assure that no damage to these '
Class lE equipment (i.e., motors, control circuits, fuses, etc) will occur and that.they will be able to meet the system functional requirements during the interval of exposure to a degraded voltage condition. The degraded voltages will include levels down to the loss of grid voltage relay.; (first level) which will provide automatic disconnection from the the degraded power source.
3.
Description of the information system provided in the main control roodi for the operator to follow the course of the transient and take necessary corrective action to ensure that Class lE equipment are not damaged.
4.
Description of the operator training and plant operating procedur_es instituted to ensure-that the operator will make appro?.-iate and prompt decisions to ccpe with this transient.
5.
Description of a program to assure the~ reliability and' availability of l
the information system, referred to in item 3 abov,e.
