C. W1114m== and D. Hayes and Mr. K. Graesser and others of our respective staffs on December 11, 1981, regarding Auxilliary Feedwater Pump operability at the Zion Station. With regard to the matters discussed we understand that the 11un Unit 2 reactor will rammin in the shutdown condition until you have completed the following:
Identified the cause of the h i114= 7 Feedwater Pumps not starting when required on December 11, 1981, and have corrected the problem; or provided assurance that the A=rilliary Feedwater Pumps will start when called upon to do so and this matter is concurred in by this office.
Please inform us 1===diately if you have any questions concerning this matter.
