I have reviewed your monthly report for the " Environmental Cleanup Standards" (B-2216) for October,1981, and have the following coments:
1.
The flow diagram of procedures for identifying properties that require remedial action is an excellent surnary of the three clearance cri tera. However, pursuant to your anal data which I requested you to complete (ysis of the existing Edgemont see my letter of f ovember 5,1981, to you), I would hope to elininate the need tq conduct any grab or long-tern indoor radon daughter measurements and to rely solely on radium-226 and/or indoor garna nea:;urements.
2.
I have also sent copies of your draft report to various interested I
agencies for their review and coment by January 1,1982. Upon receipt, I shall forward any cor.snents on the report to you.
3.
Your Financial Statement for October,1981 was acceptable.
All other aspects of your October,1981 report were adequate. The actions taken by this letter are considered to be within the scope of the current contract (B-2216).110 change to costs or delivery of contracted products is authorized.
