This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. P. Jaudon of our staff
during the period November 2-6,1981, of activities authorized by NRC
Facility Operating Licenses DPR-51 and NPF-6 for Arkansas Nuclear One,
Units 1 and 2, and to the discussion of our findings by the inspector with
Mr. J. M. Levine and other members of your staff on November 6.1981.
Amas examined during the inspection and our findings am discussed in the
enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective examination of procedures and representative mconis, interviews
i
with personnel, and observations by the inspector.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identi-

fied.
One new unresolved item is discussed in paragraph 2 of the enclosed mport.
Inaccordancewith10CFR2.790(a),acopyofthisletterandtheenclosure

will be placed in the NRC Public Docuent Room unless you notify this office,
by telephone, within -10 days of the date of this letter and submit written
application to withhold infomation contained therein within 30 d4ys of the
