CHANGE TO REQUALIFICATION TRAINING SCHEDULE FOR SALEM UNITS 1 AND 2 This letter is in response to Mr. R. A. Uderitz's letter of Noveder 3,1981, dich pmposed a change in the schedule for the licensed operator mqualification training cycle at Salem. The proposed change umuld establish September 1 of each year as the beginning of the annual training cycle.

Mr. Uderitz's letter stated that the mvised schedule will provide for improved scheduling of training and involves no deletion of material from the curmnt training r,ycle. On this basis we find the shhedQTe change is acceptable and d6es h6t diminish the mqualification program, as stated in 10 CFR Part 50.54 (101).
