Florida Power Corporation has affected a recent organizational change in the Nuclear Licensing area.

By this letter, we hereby document that change.

Effective December 4,1981, Mr. D. G. Mardis has assumed the position of Acting Manager, Nuclear Licensing.

Signature authority for Florida Power Corporation correspondence with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission hereby resides with Mr.

D.

Mardis (Acting

Manager, Nuclear Licensing), Dr. P. Y. Baynard (Manager, Nuclear Support Services), or any officer of Florida Power Corporation (including myself).

All pre-vious authorizations are hereby withdrawn effective this date.
