On February 10, 1981, Northeast Nuclear Energy Company withdrew the construction pemit application for Montague 1 & 2.

j Under 10 CFP. Part 170, it is Comission practice to recover review costs using the procedures of Footnote 3 to 10 CFR 170.21 wnen tne review of the project is complete. The review of tnis project was completed as of March 25,1931, the date tnat tne Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Panel dismissed the proceeding.

Accordingly, we have deterritned tne actual expenditures incurred for professional manpower and contractual support services from tne date the application was filed to its date of witndrawal. Actual costs for Uni'. I were $1,078,024 and $9,402 for Unit 2.

Under the Comission's regulations, we limit the charge for review to j

tnat wnich would be applied to the construction permit under 10 CFR 170.21 A.1, tnat is, $1,069,000 for Unit 1 and $9,402 for Unit 2.

$125,000 has already been paid as an application fee. The balance due for the review of the construction permit application is as follows:
