Th o sw The Comission has completed an audit of the August 1980 report by Commonwealth Edison Company (CECO) on the conformance of the Zion Unit Nos.1 and 2 design and operation to 10 CFR 20 and 10 CFR 50 as required by our Confirmatory Order dated February 29, 1980. The Zion report was transmitted to the NRC by letter dated August 29, 1980.
In our audit, we find nothing to indicate that the Zion Station design and operation does not meet the applicable regulations. The ongoing reviews in such generic areas as environmental qualification of safety related electrical equipment, quality assurance, and fire protection may identify additional measures for consideration and will be addressed as part of those reviews.
