October 1981 (Proprietary) prepared for Tennessee Valley Authority, Duke Power Company, and American Electric Power by Westinghouse Electric Corporation REF: Tennessee Valley Authority Application for Withholding, L. M. Mills to Adensam, November 1981

Dear Ms. Adensam:

The proprietary material for which this withholding is being requested by the Tennessee Valley Authority also applies to the Duke Power Company and the American Electric Power Company; it is of the same technical type as that proprietary material submitted previously by Westinghouse concerning 'Long Term Ice Condenser Containment Code - LOTIC Code." The previous application for withholding, AW-76-3 submitted April 29, 1976, was accompanied by an affi-davit signed by the owner of the proprietary information, Westinghouse Electric Corporation.

Further, the affidavit AW-76-3 submitted to justify the previous material is equally applicable to this material and is attached.

Accordingly, this letter authorizes the utilization of the previously fur-nished affidavit in support cf:

Tennessee Valley Authority, Sequoyah Units 1 and 2 and Duke Power Company, McGuire Units 1 and 2 and American Electric Power Company, D. C. Cook Units 1 and 2
