nd subject: Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Supplemental Information to Technical Specification Change Request No. 93 This !ctter provides additional clarification to our Technical Speci fication Change Request No. 93 dated OctoLer 2,1981. Tais informatioa was requested by Mr. J. Lombardo and Mr. F. Allenspach via a telephone conversation with us on December 3,1981.
The changes made to Appendices A and B retlect the title changes that are associated with the shift from GPU Nuclear Group to GPU Nuclear Corporation. No quelifications of any positions whether at the Corporate or Plant level delineated in Appendices A and B a e changed by this reauest.
It should also be noted that the responsibiiitles presently associateu with these positim s wiII not change.
The principal change to the i~echnical Specification is a change in Figure 6.2.1 to retlect the GPUNC organization and its support to the Oyster Creek site instead of the previous GPU Nuclear Group. Functionally, the organizrrions are analogous in all respects.
Figure 6.2.2 showing the site organization was not only revised to reflect the new title changes, but was streamlined to meet the requirements of the Standard Technical Specifications and delineate those positions having broad responsibilities for direction of major aspects at the Oyster Creek site.
The position of Computer Manager which was removed f rom Figure 6.2.2 has not been eliminated, and functionally the responsibilities of that position will remain the same under GPUNC.
This amendment request involves no change in the facility.
li involves no change in ownership of the facility.
The only change is that operailonel control will shift between two functionally analogous organizations and entities.

o All of the existing f unctions of the current organization (GPU Nuclear Group) are included in the proposed reorganization.
The onsite group will continue to have backup support from GPUNC. The technical qualifications (.f the Licensees are unaf f ected by this amendment and no significant hazardous consideration is involved.
