This refers to the inspection conducted by our Resident Reactor Inspector,
Mr. R. G. Taylor, during Amst and September 1981, of activities authorized
by NRC Construction Permits CPPR-126 and CPPR-127 for the Comanche Peak
facility, Units 1 and 2, and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. R. G.
Tolson and other seabers of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the
enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted
of selective examination of procedures and representative records, inter-
views with personnel, and obserntions by the inspector.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations were identified.
We have also examined actions you have taken with regard to previously
identified inspection findings. The status of these itens is idantified in
paragraph 2 of the enclosed report.
One new unresolved item disclosed during the inspection is discussed in
paragraph 5 of the enclosed report.
