Thank you for your letter dated July 23, 1981, informing us of the steps you have taken to correct the noncompliance identified in our letter dated July 14, 1981. We have no further questions on items 1 to 4 and 6 to 10; however, your response to item No. 5 was not adequate, nor was the

letter submitted under oath or affirmation as required bf the provisions.

The response to item No. 5 did not address the correc'ive actions taken to prevent recurrence of the noncompliance. Theicfore, we request you address this concern. A typical response would be a commitment to borrow back-up instruments capable of performing the spot check whenever your primary instruments are not available.
It is necessary that your response include a statement that this information as well as the information in your July 12, 1981 letter has been submitted under oath or affirmation.
