Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation Attention:
Mr. A. Schwencer, Chief Licensing Branch No. 2 Division of Licensing U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555
Dear Mr. Schwencer:
In the Matter of the Application of
)
Docket No. 50-328 Tennessee Valley Authority
)
TVA has found it necessary to revise the Preoperational/Startup Test Program stated in the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). Ice condenser system tests will be conducted through fuel loading and completed before Reactor Coolant System heatup.
Please note a correction to my letter to you dated April 21, 1981. We intend to conduct the Reactor Protection System Operational Test before fuel loading as it was originally scheduled.
Revisions to FSAR Tables 14.1-2, Preoperational Test Sequence, and 14-1-3, Startup Test Sequence, will be included in the FSAR.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with D. L. Lambert at FTS 857-2581.
