South Texas Project Units 1&2 Docket Nos. STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Second Interim Report Concerning Service Level I Paintings & Coatings On September 22, 1980, pursuant to 10CFR50.55(e), Houston Lighting &
Power Company notified your office of an apparent breakdown in the quality program of Service Level I paintings and coatings of concrete and steel surfaces inside the reactor containment building. An independent consultant has developed a draft test program which provides both procedures and quality assurance requirements. HL&P and Brown & Root are currently reviewing this draft program.
A description of the program to be implemented will be pro-vided mid-March.
