i with the unit operating at full power,the Unit 2 EIC systes vse declared inopernble due to an apparent inability to trip the turbine. Innstigation of the prohlsa revealed that turbine trip sod valve operatics was preper but that :p sansaciator or valve closed conditiars was received in the control rom. Bis was caused by the closed limit switch on the tarbine 3'
trip valve being out of ad#siment. Daring the period of innstiptien the EIC turbine oculd not have been satauntically initiated but could bsw been manually operated,1f necessary.
Caulitions Prior to Oecurrence:
Beit 2 operating at essentially full power and all other EOS rysteIme operable.

Following readjustaant of the trip valve limit switch the turbine was tested and satisfactoq operation of the trip indication was obtained.
