This lotter is forwarded to provide pranpt notification of Aaportable occurrence RO-00-18/1P as requi red by the Millstone Unit 1 Technical spectftcations.
On Novesaber 5, 1980 at 0930 tours, two ( 2) unein-stcaen line support snembe rs (MSRM-32 and MSRH-as) were found to have failed weles be tween th e sup po rt acmbe rs and the support structure.
The cause of failu re is not kn own at the present time s an investigation Ts its progress.
Addi ti onal infonna tion i ncludi ng the cause of failure and corrective action will be i ncl u ded tn a 14 day fol low-up report.
