By letter dated April 11, 1977, you submitted the Dresden Station Unit 1 Fuel Cycle 11 Licensing Report in suppurt cf a license amendment for operation during your next fuel cycle.

In revieu-ing this submittal we determined that additional information address-ing substantial technical issues was necessary to continue our

review. By letter dated May 11, 1977, we requested further informa-tion as detailed in an enclosure to that letter and stated that a complete response was needed by June 10, 1977 in order for us to complete our review on a schedule consistant with your refueling oucage plans. We have not yet received a response to this letter.

In addition, as stated in your letter of April 11, 1977, ECCS related operating limits (MAPUiGR) for Type XN-1 fuel have yet to be established although a fuel-specific ECCS heatup analysis for determining these limit is in progress. You stated thht the results.

of this analysis would be sent to us as a addendum to the Dresden 1 Cycle 11 reload submittal by June 15, 1977. We have not yet received
