the operating life of facilities. The " Implementation" section of thir.
Guide states that licensees should consider revisiods to their technical specifications to assure subnittal of needed information. The prerent specifications for Dresden Units 1, 2, and 3 require you to meet Kerulatory Guide 1.16, as revised. You, therefore, meet the intent of the 'Impleten-

Eowever, your letter of June 27,1974 (Docket ::o. 50. 237 and 50-249) recuested that the technical specificaticus for Drcsden I: nits 2 and 3 he changed to refer to Ecvision 1 dated October 1973.- Since. revision 1 is no longer in effect, we cannot grant your request. We do intend, hcrc--
ever, to authorize revisions to reporting requircrents which contain specific reference - to Revision 2.
Accordingly, you are requested to subnit, before
'ece:ber 1,1974, a proposed change to your technical specifications in the v
form of cn application for license amendment, establishing reporting require-nents in accordance with negulatory Guide 1.16 Revision 2; or, provide justification for any departure from the Guido.
