On June 9,1977, the Nuclear Regulatory Corriission announced by press release its plans for public ceetings to discuss a new 10 CFR Part 21 to its : rules and regulations entitled,
" Reporting of Defects and Noncompliance." Accordingly, we are scheduling a series cf meetings near cur Regional Offices for the purpose of explaining how the new requirencnts vill apply to nucicar activities covered by the rule. You are

'ticipate in the July 21, 1977 meeting hosted by this Office.
