UNITED STATES ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-10 COMMONWEAL 1H EDISON COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY LICENSE V
Please take notice that the Atomic Energy Commission, pursuant to the Initial Decision of the Presiding Officer dated September 4, 1962 has issued Amendment No. 7, set forth below, to Facility License No.
The license authorizes Commonwealth Edison Company to possess and operate the dual cycle boiling water reactor designated as the "Dresden Nuclear Power Station" and located in Grundy County, Illinois.
The amendment authorizes Commonwealth Edison Company to operate the facility at steady-state power levels not in excess of 700 megawatts h
(the rmal).
The previously authorized maximum power level was 630 l
t megawatts (thermal).
The Initial Decision also revised the Technical Specifications
( Appendix "A") of License No. DPR-2 to provide for the increase in power level and an increase in the maximum heat flux limits for each of t'he various type fuel elements authorized for use in the Dresden reactor.
License No. DPR-2, as amended, expires on May 4, 1996.
