During tue period ikcentber 6 throu;.,a Deceuaer 9,1971, our District II Safeguards Office conducted a safeguards inspection of tae special nuclear nr.terial possessed by tne Cotuonwealth Edison Co::pany at the Dresden I site, t>ursuant to AEC License iios. DRP-2 and Sini-225.
As a result of the inspection, the inspectors found that the ncterial status report submitted by Cocmonwealth Edison Coupany for Decer:locr 31, 1971, covering the Dresden 1 Operations, contained several errors.
'Ihese were brougnt to the attention of the responsible statica personnel who made the necessary corrections and sube.itted a revised, corrected material status report to the Cowaission.
based on our review of the inspection results, inventory verification analyses, and records audit, it appears that there were no ite::.s of noncompliance witn present regulatory requirements.
