We have completed our review of your May 30, 1978 response to our April 10,1978 request for additional infomation relatina to the status annunciator for the diesel generators at Dresden Station.

You have agreed to install alams for Dresden Units 2, 2/3, and 3 i ~~
u diesel generators for the following conditions:
I l.
Manual air shutoff valve placed in the closed position; I
and i-L 2.
Bus tie breaker between the D/G and its emergency bus placed in Test position.
You have also agreed to either modify your procedure for diesel generator testing to preclude changing the D/C governor droop setting or to install an alam for improper droop setting.
p Based upon our review of your response, we have concluded that your diesel generator status annunciator system will be acceptable when the proposed modiff. cations are completed, provided that the wording used in the alam clearly indicates to the operator that the diesel L
start function is blocked.
l Please provide a schedule for the completion of the prooosed modift-cations within 60 days.
