The aaendaent consists of charges to the Technical Speciff-cations in response to your application dated April 11,1977, as suppler.ented by filings dated flay 23, Aunust 3, and Septet:ber ti and 15, 1977.
=i The anendment (1) authorizes operation of Dresden Unit No.1 uith additicnal 6 x 6 fuel assenblies as replaceent for existing fue) asse"tilies, (2) incorporates revised i'CilFR linits that assure conservative operation with respect to thernal tydraulics during cycle 11, and (3) incorporates new MAPLHfa linits to assure that the reactor is operated so as to centinue to coet the ECCS per-for ance criteria.
Dresden Unit No.1 is currently operating under an exe ption "frea the reevirencnts of and underlying 10 CFR 50,M with respect to the cesign diversity of emergency power sources, but not fron the specific perforaance recuirements of the FAC." This exemption expires December 31, 1~77.
Ccronwealth Edison has requested a one year extension of tne exc~ption.
It should be noted that this artene.ent coes not authorize
