Cc=cnvealth Edison Company, by letter dated August 29, 1963, has requested authorization to decrease the frequency of control rod drive system tests required by the Technical Specifications.

In view of the foregoing, the Technical Specifications to License No. DPR-2 are hereby amended as set forth below:

Eliminate the fourth paragraph of Section F.1.

Add a new Section F.4: " Tests and Inspections of Control Rod Drives Routine inspections during major outages: Not less than two control rod drive mechanisms shall be removed, disassembled, and thoroughly inspected at intervals not to exceed 16 months.
It is anticipated that such inspections will lv nade during outages involving the removal of the reactor head for refueling or other purposes."
