This is to inform you that Florida Power Corporation, St. Petersburg,

~T T1orida, has submitted an application for construction pomits and 1.1

operating licenses for two pressurized water nuclear reactors desig-nated as Crystal River Units 3 & 4 N xlear Canerating riant. The proposed facilities will be located on the Corporation's site on the Culf of flexico, 70 seiles north of Tampa and about 7-1/2 miles north-vest of Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida.

The proposed reactors are each designed for initial operation at approximately 2452 megawatts thernst with a gross electrical output of approxbsately 855 megawatts.

The applicant anticipates the two facilities will be coxpleted and ready for consercial service in April 1972 and in 1974, respectively.
